Took advice from a buddy on pricing and it backfired hard
My friend Dave told me to raise my rates by 40% to "weed out the tire kickers." I did it two months ago and lost three regular clients who had been with me for years. The new clients I got were actually more demanding and paid slower. Has anyone else had a "guru" friend's advice mess up their income like this?
