Shoutout to skipping the 'perfect' home search
Back in the day, I spent months looking for a house that checked every box. I gave up and started viewing places that needed updates. Ended up buying a little ranch that was a mess, but it was affordable and now it's mine. Funny how lowering your standards can actually work out.

Ever think that once you start fixing a place up, you get hooked on the progress instead of the perfect finish line? That's what happened to me.

My buddy Dave had a half-finished bathroom for eight months. He installed a $2,000 vanity in week one, then got stuck re-grouting the floor tiles because he wasn't happy with the shade. Found himself touching up paint on the ceiling at midnight, then decided the light fixture needed rewiring. He told me he just liked having a project to chip away at, even if the sink was still sitting in the box.
