Am I the only one who found bright colors cheap until a market visit in Mexico?
I used to stick to neutral tones in my designs, thinking loud colors looked tacky. That changed on a trip to Oaxaca, where I wandered through the local textile markets. The way artisans layered vibrant pinks, oranges, and blues in their weaving was stunning. Seeing those hues in person, under the sun, showed me how color can feel alive and rich. I bought a handwoven scarf and stared at it for hours, noting how the dyes blended. Back in my studio, I started playing with bold palettes inspired by those patterns. Now, my new line uses saturated shades I never would have touched before. That one trip totally shifted how I see color in fashion.

Seeing how that trip totally shifted your color view, @park.joseph, reminds me of an article on travel's impact on artists.

Wait, so one market visit totally flipped your whole color palette? That's crazy how a single trip can do that.
