That Tuesday a spooked Thoroughbred kicked my brand new anvil clear across the barn and I just stood there laughing for a solid minute

I had just finished saying to the owner how calm this mare was when she heard a tractor backfire and launched both hind legs straight into my 150-pound anvil sending it flying 12 feet and denting a steel support beam, has anyone else ever had a horse destroy something you never thought could move?

Wait, did the anvil actually dent the steel beam or did it just leave a mark? Also what kind of owner just lets their horse chill near that stuff without warning you first? That mare must have some serious power in those hind legs.

Yeah, that "dent or mark" thing got me thinking too. I mean, I once dropped a sledgehammer on my own foot and it left a bruise that looked like a dent for like three days, so I'm leaning towards it being an actual dent. But hey, maybe it's just me and my clumsy self overthinking it. That mare must have some serious power though, way more than I've got. My dog once kicked me in the shin while he was dreaming and I was limping for a week, so I can't even imagine what that horse could do if it wanted to. I'd probably walk away with a cracked bone or something, knowing my luck.
