That time a client's pony tried to eat my rasp

I was trimming a Shetland pony in Maple Ridge last spring, and I set my rasp down for a second. The little guy grabbed it in his teeth and started chewing on the handle like it was a carrot. His owner just laughed and said, 'He thinks everything is a snack.' I had to gently pry it out while he made grumpy faces. Anyone had a horse try to snack on their tools?

Tbh that pony just wanted to give your rasp a taste test. Probably thought the handle was a weirdly shaped licorice stick. Ngl, I'd pay to see the grumpy face he made when you took his new chew toy. At least he didn't go for the clippers next.
