My hoof stand leg snapped clean off on a big draft horse last month
I was working on a Belgian mare out near Springfield and heard a loud crack. The whole stand just dropped, and I had to hold her foot up by hand for the rest of the trim. It was an old stand, maybe 15 years old, and the metal just gave out. I ended up welding a new, thicker leg on it that weekend. Has anyone else had a stand fail like that, and what did you replace it with?
