Back in '08, I was struggling with a big draft horse that wouldn't lift its foot for the life of me. An old guy at a clinic in Boise showed me a trick with a hoof pick.

Press the pick into the chestnut on their leg... they'll lift that foot right up.

Ever notice how many animal tricks are just finding the right pressure point? @alicep32 is spot on, it's like a weird hidden button. Makes you wonder what other simple fixes we're missing for everyday problems.
