inCan anyone recommend a good place to finance off-road rims and tires?
I was in the same boat last year and ended up going with Off-Road Rim Financing . They have a ton of top brands and the no credit check financing was a lifesaver. Shipping was fast and free too.

inA timeline trap I fell into with custom mitered frames
Oh man, rushing glue is a one-way ticket to wobbly frame town. Seen it happen when someone's trying to beat the clock. Jessica's method sounds clever, but I'm with Blake on this one. Sometimes you just gotta let things sit if you want them to stick around, right?

inMy neighbor told me to skip the pre-cut veggies at the store
Totally agree with you @mitchell.mark, switching to the block was a game changer. It feels like the pre-shredded stuff is half sawdust anyway. You're right about it lasting way longer in the fridge too. The taste difference is just night and day, especially for something simple like a grilled cheese. Once you make the switch there's just no going back.

inWhy does nobody talk about the difference between canned air and a proper electric duster?
Wait, isn't the liquid from a can just the propellant getting cold? That's why it stops working well. The electric duster avoids that whole issue by just moving air.

inI dropped $200 on a 'professional' garlic press that broke on the second clove
Look, sometimes you just get a bad unit. That happens with everything made by people. You probably just got the one in ten thousand with a hidden flaw. For all you know, that same press is working perfectly in a hundred other kitchens right now. Blaming the whole tool is unfair when most of them are probably solid. Maybe you put sideways pressure on it without realizing, or that second clove had a weird hard spot. Stuff breaks.
