Why does nobody talk about how hard it is to do lash lifts on clients with super oily skin
Had a client last Tuesday whose lashes dropped flat after 10 minutes and my coworker said it's because their natural oils break down the perm solution, so how do you prep oily lash lines without over-cleansing?

Oily skin really does throw a wrench in things, it's like the skin and hair are fighting against you from the start. Reminds me of how some people can't wear certain makeup because their face just eats it up right away, no matter how much primer you use. A light swipe of alcohol-free toner on a cotton pad before the perm does the trick without stripping things too much.

Yeah @the_barbara is right, I switched to a gentle micellar water swipe and it fixed the issue for me.
