I was a skeptic about facial cupping, now I use it weekly
For like a year I thought facial cupping was just another Instagram gimmick, you know, all those red circles and people claiming it lifted their whole face. Then my coworker brought her silicone cups to the studio and offered to demo on me after a long shift, and I figured why not. Honestly the sensation was weird at first, but once she moved the cup along my jaw and cheekbones, I could feel this deep release in my sinuses and tight muscles that my fingers never touched. I started doing it on my own clients, maybe 10 minutes before a facial, and three of them have mentioned better lymphatic drainage and less puffiness in the mornings. It's not a miracle tool or anything, but it does add something to the massage portion that my hands alone can't replicate. Has anyone else gone from rolling their eyes at a trend to adding it to their routine, or am I the only convert here?
