Dropped $280 on a high-frequency machine and it's been sitting in my drawer for 6 months
I got talked into buying this portable high-frequency wand at a trade show last spring. The vendor made it sound like I'd use it on every client for acne and aging. But in reality I reach for my LED mask or just do extractions way more often. Now I feel dumb every time I see it in my drawer. Anyone else buy something for your esthetics kit that ended up being a total waste?

Bought this fancy ultrasonic spatula thing at a beauty expo, thought it would be my new go to for deep cleansing. Used it twice and one of the blades flew off during a brow treatment, scared the client half to death. Now it lives in my drawer next to an old jade roller I swore I'd use every morning. At least the high frequency wand can sit there looking pretty while you debate selling it on Facebook Marketplace.

Hold on a second, I think you might be mixing up your tools a bit. An ultrasonic spatula is for deep cleansing and exfoliation, but you wouldn't use the blade part near a client's eyebrow area. That's more of a high frequency wand's job for treating blemishes or fine lines. The blade on a spatula is meant for scraping off dead skin and sebum, not for shaping brows. It's no wonder it flew off if you were using it wrong, those things are delicate and meant to be held flat against the skin. Maybe give it another try but stick to just the face, not the brows, and see if it works better.
