Witnessed a coworker bend the rules on cable tension yesterday.
I know safety comes first, but calling him out could cause team issues. Where do you draw the line?

The_faith is wrong, a snapped cable is a serious event, so you have to call it out quietly but firmly.

Remember seeing a cable snap once in a warehouse.

You talk about a cable snap, but is it really that serious? I've seen cables break and just make a loud noise without any damage. What did it even hit, some empty boxes? Most times they're just holding up lights or light stuff. It's not like a crane cable snapping with tons of weight. Why do people act like it's a huge event every time?
