Vent: Guys keep using the wrong grease on the governor sheaves
I've seen three jobs in the last month where someone packed the governor sheave bearings with regular lithium grease. That stuff gets stiff when it's cold and the governor needs to move free. I use a specific synthetic grease, like Mobilith SHC 220, for those parts. It stays smooth down to about negative 40. Had a call back for a false overspeed trip that was just frozen grease. What do you all use on your governors?

Heard some guys swear by a light turbine oil instead, ever try that?
