Old foreman told me to use a torque screwdriver on breakers. Took me 4 years to finally try it.
I always thought it was a waste of time. Just crank it down tight, right? Last month I started a job at a new company and the lead guy had one. I borrowed it and honestly the connections look way more consistent. Been doing it ever since. Anyone else have a tool they ignored for years then finally used?

I love that feeling when something you always brushed off finally clicks and makes perfect sense. It's like when I refused to use a level for hanging pictures for years, then realized everything was crooked! Kinda makes you wonder what else we're missing out on by being stubborn.

Oh man, my dad spent 30 years hanging shelves by eye before I made him try a level. Now he won't hang a single picture without it. Sometimes the tools we think are overkill are actually the ones that save us the most hassle.
