My old library got new computers last year and it messed up my whole routine
I used to go to the downtown branch on Saturdays. The old terminals were slow, clunky, smelled like dust. But I knew exactly where the art history PDFs were saved. Now they switched to these sleek all-in-ones and the file system is totally different. Took me 20 minutes just to find the local archives. Why do they always fix things that weren't broken?

Fourteen years of dust and slow logins and they still changed it without asking.

Hold on, isn't a library supposed to stay current? If they kept the old clunkers, kids today would never even look at the digital archives. Those dust-smelling terminals probably had a virus just waiting to steal your art history files. Plus, the old system was probably held together with tape, the new ones probably load things way faster once you learn them. You said it took twenty minutes to find the local archives, but how often do you really need that specific folder? The upgrade might be a pain right now, but wouldn't you rather have a library that can actually play a video or host a class without freezing every five seconds?
