Just realized my old PDF hoarding habit was killing student access

I used to save everything as PDFs and dump them into a shared drive. Students kept asking where files were, and I'd spend 15 minutes per class hunting links. Last semester I switched to a simple Google Site with one page per unit. Now every reading, video, and quiz link is in one spot, and my 9th graders actually find stuff on their own. It took me 3 days to set up, but I've gotten back 2 hours a week. Has anyone else made the jump from file storage to a simple webpage for their class resources?

My friend tried that and still lost her whole semester's files to a broken link.
