Tried using a heat gun on a vinyl floor bubble and it actually worked

I was ready to call a pro, but after 30 seconds of low heat and a rolling pin, it flattened right out. Anyone know if this trick works on older, more brittle vinyl too?

Guess you just invented a new home repair tool. Honestly, my rolling pin is jealous it doesn't get used for anything but pie crust. Tbh, I'd be too scared to try that on old vinyl though.

My rolling pin is jealous too, but it's probably for the best. That old vinyl would probably just crack under the pressure, and then you'd have a real mess. Some tools are better off sticking to their day jobs.
