My neighbor in Boise showed me a level trick I still use
Last spring I was fighting with a crooked shelf bracket in my garage, and my neighbor Dave from two doors down walked over. He said, "stop using the little bubble level, use your phone on the wall first," and then he held my phone flat against the stud and marked the top line with a pencil. That took me from 5 tries down to 1 try, and now I do that for every mounting job. Anyone else have a neighbor who saved them from a frustrating project with a simple tip?
