My bathroom faucet sprayed water everywhere like a sprinkler last night
Was just trying to brush my teeth around 11pm and the handle snapped clean off in my hand lol. Water shot straight up and hit the ceiling before I even knew what happened. Took me 20 minutes to find the shutoff valve under the sink because it was buried behind old caulk tubes. Had to sleep with a bucket under the sink and towels all over the floor. Gonna hit up Home Depot today to replace the whole thing. Anybody had a faucet handle just give up on them like that?

Handle snapped clean off" sounds like you were cranking on it way too hard honestly. Those cheap faucets aren't meant to be wrestled with. Probably had a slow drip for months and you ignored it too.

@river_fox18 is acting like he's never had a cheap part just fail on its own. Whole situation sounds annoying but is it really the disaster everyone's making it out to be?
