Vent: 3 hours to hang a single closet corner. Am I the only one?

Ngl I spent almost 3 hours just doing one inside corner in a tight closet last week because the studs were way off and my mud kept bubbling. Do you guys cut your losses and shim everything or just fight through the frustration?

Question whether 3 hours on a single corner is really the end of the world. Tbh, if you're that worried about perfection in a closet nobody sees, you're overthinking it. Just shim the studs, slam the mud on, and move on.

Haven't you ever had a job that looked fine but bothered you every time you walked past it? Three hours might seem like a lot, but if the corner was that crooked, taking the time to get it right saves you from having to rip it out later. Sometimes fighting through the frustration is just part of making sure the next layer or the paint doesn't show every screwup.
