TIL a solid lunch prep method that cuts my break time on drywall jobs
I started making burritos at home to bring to work instead of buying lunch. I fill them with rice, beans, and some chicken for protein. This keeps me full and gives me energy to handle drywall sheets all afternoon. Last month, I saved over a hundred dollars and gained an extra 15 minutes of work time each day. Just wrap them in foil and heat them up on site if you want. Give it a shot if you're tired of spending money and time on fast food. It made my afternoons way more productive.

Just a heads up, heating foil in a microwave can cause sparks. Better to unwrap it onto a plate first.

Yeah that sparking is no joke. Thin edges and corners on foil get super charged in there. Seen it happen with those takeout containers that have foil lining too. Parchment paper works way better if you need to cover something. Basically if it's metal and goes in the microwave, you're asking for trouble.
