Had to pick between a 4x8 or a 4x12 sheet for a tricky ceiling patch
The patch was in a long hallway, about 14 feet long but only 3 feet wide. I could have cut a 4x8 and had a seam, or try to get a 4x12 up there in one piece. I went with the 4x12 to avoid the extra taping. Getting it up the stairs and into place was a two-man fight, but the finish is way cleaner. Anyone have a good trick for moving those long sheets solo?
