A guy at a print shop in Omaha showed me his old drafting table

He said he still uses it for all his final checks because 'the screen lies about line weight, but paper never does.' I've been double checking my own prints on paper ever since. Anyone else still keep a physical copy for a final look?

That line about paper never lying is so true. I do all my photo edits on screen but still print a small proof before sending to clients. Last week I caught a weird color shift in a sky that looked perfect on my monitor. The print showed it was actually a bit green. You ever run into something like that?

Oh man, is your monitor gaslighting you about the sky color? Classic. Mine makes every sunset look like a radioactive fruit punch until I print it.
