Pro tip: mudding with a 6 inch knife vs a 12 inch, I say the big one wins
I used to think a 6 inch knife was all I needed for taping drywall, but after redoing my basement in Boise last year, the 12 inch left way fewer ridges to sand. You feather wider and faster with one pass, though a few folks on a job told me the small knife gives more control in corners. Which one do you actually reach for first?
