The great caulk gun disaster of my bathroom redo

Okay, so I redid my bathroom tile last month (the whole thing, it took three weekends). I kept seeing my neighbor and even some videos online where people just squeeze the trigger and drag the tube along, which leaves these huge gaps and weird bumps. The trick is to cut the tip at a 45-degree angle, make a small bead, and then smooth it with a wet finger right away (like, within 30 seconds). I learned this after my first attempt looked like a toddler's art project and I had to scrape it all out. Has anyone else had to fix a caulk job that looked more like silly string?

Honestly is it that big of a deal if the caulk line isn't perfect? Tbh most people won't even notice.

Ugh, my first caulk job looked like a melted crayon.
