Tried to replace my own CV axle. 20 minutes in I realized I rented the wrong puller from Autozone.
Had to drive 40 minutes back to the store while my car was on jack stands in the driveway. Anybody know if the puller for a 2006 Civic fits a 2005 Accord or was that guy at the counter just messing with me?

Honestly I used to think all Honda pullers were universal but that 05 Accord taught me different lol.

Read something online about that gen Accord. Apparently the harmonic balancers are a nightmare on those. Had a buddy who stripped one out trying to pull the crank pulley. @faitha40 you're spot on, that generation is just built different. Not in a good way either. Makes me appreciate the old 90s models where everything just worked.
