Unpopular opinion: my shed floor is level and I hate it

Spent 4 hours pouring a 10x12 slab in my backyard in Boise and checked it with a $12 torpedo level that turned out to be broken. I only found out when my buddy showed up with a real level and the low corner was off by half an inch, so I mixed up a whole new bag of quikrete to build it up. Do you guys trust cheap levels or is it worth dropping $60 on a good one?
