Good reminder. People forget those things can work loose just from normal riding.

Wait, is it just quick release skewers? Because through-axles can come loose too, right? I had a front one back out on me once and it was super scary. The real lesson is to check anything that holds your wheels on, no matter what kind of bike you ride. That guy at the co-op gave you seriously good advice.
