Took me 5 years to figure out I was squeezing too hard on the bottle
I was scrubbing a greasy lasagna pan after Thanksgiving dinner when my sister asked why I was using half the bottle on one dish, and that's when it clicked that a light squeeze and letting the soap do the work actually cleans better.
