My trusty pump dispenser gave up mid-suds on a Tuesday night

I was scrubbing a week of baked lasagna off my favorite casserole dish when the pump on my usual bottle just stopped pushing soap. It wasn't the brand's fault, the spring mechanism inside finally snapped after 8 months of daily use. I dumped the remaining soap into a spare squirt bottle I keep under the sink, which worked fine but made me realize I rely too much on fancy dispensers. Has anyone else had a pump fail on them, or am I the only one who sticks with the classic squeeze bottle?
