That $220 noise cancelling headphone buy in Chiang Mai was the best money I ever spent as a nomad
Everyone in the nomad groups says co-working spaces are a waste and you should just work from cafes, but I disagree after 8 months bouncing around Southeast Asia. I dropped $220 on a pair of noise cancelling headphones in Chiang Mai last November and they basically saved my ability to work from anywhere loud. I tried the cafe thing for a month in Da Nang and got nothing done between the blenders and the motorbikes, so now I just book a quiet spot and zone out. Curious if anyone else here has a single purchase that made this lifestyle actually work for them?
