Spent a month in Split and the coworking scene is a total joke

I paid 180 euros for a monthly pass at a big spot near the port. The internet cut out three times a day, and half the people were just tourists on video calls with their families. The owner told me, 'It's about the vibe, not the speed.' How are you supposed to get actual work done in a place that treats a desk like a photo op? Has anyone found a spot in Croatia that actually works for remote work?

Used to think a stable connection was a given until I worked from a cafe in Zadar. Their router was literally held together with tape and prayers, and I lost a whole afternoon of work. Now I just check the Google reviews for "wifi" before I even look at the photos.

Your story and @ivan40's prove Croatia's coworking spaces are just expensive background noise.
