I was at a small con in Austin maybe 7 years ago and saw someone using a tablet with a textured screen protector.

I mean I read somewhere that those textured protectors are supposed to feel more like paper. It seems like a good idea for drawing, maybe it helps with control. Idk if it actually works but I get why someone would try it.

The paper feel thing reminds me of a friend who got one for his iPad. He said it was great for a week until it wore down his Apple Pencil nib to a flat spot. Had to buy a whole pack of replacements.
