A 12 year old kid on deviantArt told me my green grass was 'too flat' so I spent 2 weeks studying 40 reference photos and now my backgrounds actually have depth
Their comment was just 'grass looks like a carpet, try adding tufts' but somehow that translated into me redoing my entire lighting workflow in Procreate and now my foliage pieces get 3x the comments, has anyone else had a random critique completely rewire their process?
