Transmission line blew out on a cattle haul outside Amarillo
I was dropping a load near Amarillo last month and the return line from the trans cooler just split at the crimp, dumped 4 gallons on the pavement before I shut it down. My regular hose guy is 300 miles away and the local parts store only had some universal line that took 2 hours to flare and adapt. Has anyone else had luck with reusable push-lock fittings on hot trans return lines, or should I just stick with factory crimped every time?

Four gallons dumped in Texas heat means push-lock rubber will weep at the crimp, stick with factory.
