Showerthought: I spent 4 hours looking for a coolant leak that turned out to be a single cracked O-ring on a heater hose fitting.

Has anyone else had a tiny part cause a massive headache on a Detroit 60 series?

Buddy of mine lost a whole weekend to a bad injector cup seal. Thing was the size of a dime.

Single cracked O-ring" sounds about right. Those little guys can take your whole afternoon HOSTAGE.
