Pro tip: I switched from a standard 3/8 drive to a 1/2 drive for head bolts and it was a game changer
Last month I was doing a head gasket on a 6.7 Powerstroke and used my regular 3/8 torque wrench for the final pass. The click felt soft and I wasn't confident. Borrowed a buddy's 1/2 inch drive Snap-on for the same job this week, and the click was solid and clear. The extra mass in the head of the bigger wrench just gives you a much better feel at higher torque values. Anyone else find the 3/8 drive gets a bit vague when you're up around 120 ft-lbs or more?

Wait, you were torquing head bolts on a 6.7 with a 3/8 wrench? That's wild, those things need like 150 ft-lbs plus the angles. No wonder it felt mushy, you were probably flexing the whole tool.

Ugh, did it make that awful creaking sound? I hate when the wrench feels like it's gonna snap.
