Lost a whole day to a no start on a 2016 Pete and it was a 15 dollar sensor
Truck died in the yard off I-20 in Odessa and I spent 9 hours chasing fuel pressure before I unplugged the cam sensor and it fired right up. Pulled a used one off the shelf to get him rolling, and the new one showed up two days later. Anybody else get burned by a crank or cam sensor that throws no code at all?

How long did it take you to finally unplug that cam sensor? I feel your pain on that one, been there with a crank sensor on an older Cat that gave me nothing on the scan tool. Nine hours in a yard is rough, especially when it turns out to be a part that costs less than lunch. Those sensors can fail in a way that the computer just doesn't catch, which makes you want to pull your hair out. Glad you got him moving with the used one, that shelf spare saved the day.
