Rant: I mapped bus routes by hand on paper for years, now I just pull the GTFS feed into QGIS
Did a full redesign of the Cedar Street corridor by hand in 2019, took me about 40 hours with highlighters and a printout. Now I load the transit feed into QGIS and the whole thing is done in an afternoon, but I can't shake the feeling I understand the corridor less. Anyone else find the fast tools make you skip the part where you actually learn the route?
