My normal 25 minute ride to the shop turned into 90 minutes when the bike lane on 8th got dug up
Tuesday was rough. I left my place around 7:15 like always and got maybe four blocks before I hit a wall of cones and a sign that just said "path closed" with no detour marked anywhere. I ended up riding on the sidewalk for a bit, then a parking lot, then doubling back two streets over, and by the time I locked up at the shop it was almost 8:45. A regular customer saw me walk in sweating and said "you look like you rode here from another city." Does anyone know if the city posts a real detour map anywhere, or do I just have to guess for the next few months?
