I thought bus stop benches were just a nice extra until I waited 22 minutes in the rain on Grand Ave last Tuesday
Turns out the design community transport folks in my city were right that a bench changes everything, because standing there soaked while cars sprayed me made me finally get why they keep pushing for basic shelters, so now I want to know which stops near you got benches first and how they picked them.
