Tbh, during a closet clean-out, I realized my smart TV was a security risk.

Most people overlook how smart TVs can act as a backdoor into your entire home network. If compromised, they give hackers access to EVERYTHING else connected. Scary stuff.

Yep, same thing hit me last year. My old smart TV started showing me super targeted ads for stuff I'd only talked about near it, which was a huge wake-up call lol. I ended up just unplugging it from the wifi entirely and got a cheap streaming stick instead, way less creepy. It's wild how much those things just silently collect.
