My photo editing hobby led me to lock down my cloud storage better

I've been getting into digital photography lately, and I store all my raw files on a cloud service. Last week, I got an alert about a login from a country I've never been to. It freaked me out. I realized I was using a weak password and no extra security steps. So, I set up two-factor authentication right away. I also learned about encrypting my files before uploading them. Now I feel much safer knowing my work is protected. It's crazy how a simple hobby can push you to improve your digital safety.
