Coworker's password advice almost got me phished

My buddy Greg swore by using the same password for everything. Said it was easier to remember. Last month someone got into his email and wiped his bank account. I checked mine and found my password in a data breach list, so I spent 2 hours changing all 47 logins. Has anyone else had a "helper" give dangerously bad security tips?
