Am I the only one who still has an old security token?

I found my old security token while cleaning out a drawer. Now we use apps on our phones for two-factor auth. Do you prefer the old hardware tokens or new apps?

Actually, read a tech article saying physical tokens avoid phone malware risks. In my experience, apps are easier but I feel better with a backup hardware key. Your mileage may vary, of course.

Wow, Craig, I hadn't considered phone malware bypassing authenticator apps like that. The idea that a simple app notification isn't a safe enough barrier is pretty alarming. I might need to look into a hardware key as a backup myself.
