My cruise photos before and after I learned the 4pm trick on the Lido deck
On our Bahamas trip last spring I finally figured out why my pictures from the first few days looked so washed out. I was shooting at noon when the sun was right overhead, but then I started taking shots around 4pm on the Lido deck and the difference was night and day. The sky looked blue, my wife's face wasn't squinting, and you could see the water color in Nassau. Does anyone else plan their port photos around the time of day, or am I the only one overthinking this?
