I finally started locking my door after my neighbor walked in while I was napping
I used to think my neighbor Earl was just friendly, so I never bothered locking up when I was home, until last Wednesday when I woke up to him standing in my kitchen holding my mail saying he "wanted to save me a trip." Now the deadbolt stays turned, and honestly the weird part is he acted like I was the rude one for jumping. Has anyone else had a neighbor who thinks your house is just an extension of theirs?
My old neighbor Sal did the exact same thing, walked right in while I was watching TV and grabbed a soda from my fridge. I started locking up after that and he acted all hurt, but you gotta do what you gotta do.
