Monday was a disaster until I flipped my whole outline upside down
I spent 5 hours planning a heist story for a prompt about a librarian with a gambling debt, and it read like a tax form. Then I started the scene at the ending and worked backwards, which gave me the twist that actually made sense. Has anyone else tried writing the last chapter first just to break a bad draft?
