I tried writing a story from a random object generator and got a weirdly good plot.
I used a website that gave me 'a rusty key, a broken radio, and a jar of pickles from 1997' and forced myself to write a scene. It turned into a whole mystery about a missing neighbor that I actually liked. What's the strangest prompt combo that ever worked for you?

Forget random objects, that's just luck. The real work comes from editing and structure, not a weird shopping list. Good writing needs more than a funny prompt to be solid.
