Had a close call with a power line on a job in Tampa last spring

We were setting roof trusses on a house, and I was focused on the load. My spotter yelled just as my boom got within maybe 10 feet of a line I didn't see. We stopped everything right then. My boss made us do a full site walk with the whole crew the next morning to mark every single hazard. Now I do that walk myself before I even start the truck, no matter how simple the pick seems. Anyone else have a rule they started after a near miss like that?

Honestly, that site walk rule is solid. Did you guys change anything else about how you talk through the lift plan before starting?

My old foreman used to make us point at the line and say its voltage out loud.
